Birds In Motion is a collaborative video production presented by Wings In Nature. The ultimate goal of Birds In Motion is to film every bird species that breeds in the United States and Canada (ABA Area) in ultra high-definition video. Each species is filmed in the seasons and habitats where it is likely to be seen in the field. The accompanying audio includes songs and calls from the target species, as well ambient sounds in the area. New sequences are added and existing sequences are updated as new material is recorded.

Stunning Footage

Birds In Motion's objective is to raise the bar in the realm of birding videos - in terms of quality, education, subject depth, and aesthetic beauty. Our videographers strive to record clips in the highest possible resolution (currently 4K) and in as close proximity as Mother Nature allows. Each sequence is edited to show typical behaviors of the target species in its native environments. Birds are depicted in various plumages: male and female, adult and young, basic and alternate, plus regional diversity.

The Sponsor-A-Bird program provides a means for you to join the Wings In Nature team. Each sponsorship is a tax-deductible donation that provides valuable resources for avian habitat conservation efforts. Sponsorships may be made anonymously, or in the name of an individual, family, organization, Audubon chapter, or in memorium.
